At the Eduniversal World Convention, hosted by The American University in Cairo School of Business from October 30 to November 2, 2022, the School of Economics and Business University of Ljubljana and Prague University of Economics and Business were named the best schools in the region, while also being featured on its website as one of the best business schools in the world.

The Eduniversal international ranking features 1,000 of the world’s business schools from 154 countries. Schools are awarded “Palms of Excellence,” with 5 “Palms of Excellence” designating the best schools worldwide. Each school’s quality profile is evaluated based on the votes of the deans of all 1,000 business schools. SEB LU was awarded 5 Palms of Excellence this year for the fifth year.

The ranking, by the Eduniversal agency, compiles the votes of the deans and ranks schools according to their international influence in a specific geographic area. These include: Africa, Central Asia, Eurasia and the Middle East, the Far East, Latin America, Oceania, North America, Eastern Europe and Western Europe. Slovenia belongs to the Eastern Europe region, which includes the following countries: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Montenegro, Estonia, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine. This year, SEB LU shares first place with our partner school, the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE).

At the plenary session on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, Prof. Tanja Dmitrović spoke about innovative pedagogical approaches and the future of learning.
