The Faculty of Economics was the first to introduce class councils in the 1958/1959 winter semester, which brought together professors of an individual class and the elected representatives of students of the corresponding class. In the picture: the first student representative in the faculty council was Franc Štrumbelj who was also the chairman of the Yugoslav Association of Students of the Faculty of Economics in 1955.
