Google AdWords Academy: »AdWords is a great opportunity for the unaddressed public«
The Internet is becoming the centre of our lives. In Slovenia, approximately 30% of consumption made through media happens online. Nevertheless, companies are not following this trend with their marketing and therefore, the unaddressed public is our opportunity.
On the 26th of November, Google Academy, the second activity of Alumni Career was set up. It is focused on the AdWords program, which enables good targeting and leads to achieving potential customers. 100 members of Alumni Club will get in touch with Google search marketing, learn one of the best ways of advertising and furthermore, have an option of getting a certificate.

As Metka Svetlin from Marketing Management Google Slovenia said: “Adwords is just a small piece of the whole digital mosaic. Still it is an opportunity since 1.3 million Slovenians use the Internet and 95% of them use Google.” She emphasized: “People are searching for information online and AdWords is one of the opportunities how to offer them the right product, the right solution.”

Marko Penko, Google Certified Trainer and Head of Database Sales and Marketing at Studio Moderna, will present the marketing masterpiece to the participants. The focus will be on the short appeal to the customers, the short presentation of the value of the product or service and the short final part, the conclusion of the business. In Studio Moderna, their whole process is set up in a way that Google and other online tools enable the comparison of inputs and outputs at every moment.
