2. CSR award scheme for partnerships, innovation and impact is open

The purpose of the award is to highlight the best Slovenian projects in the area of corporate social responsibility and increase the exchange of best practices.

This year we changed the selection criteria so there is more emphasis on positive social impacts the project has reached and on comprehensive understanding of social responsibility of the company, and less on marketing activities.

You can apply in two categories:

1. category for partnerships involving small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs)

2. category for partnerships involving large companies

The  award scheme is focused on successful partnerships between an enterprise and at least one non-business stakeholder. This is an innovative concept, as CSR awards typically focus on individual enterprises. The Award Scheme will put particular emphasis on innovation with the hope of accelerating business to create innovative solutions to tackle sustainability issues.

Awards winners will be announced at a ceremony on 12 May 2014. The prize includes attendance at International Conference on Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility – Innovating for Sustainability (Berlin, 8.-10.9.2014) for a representative of each of the winning companies, including covering the costs of transportation, accommodation (within the project budget)  and registration fee.
