Opening of presentation display – Chinese culture in Nama
On Friday, 25 April 2014, the Nama department store in collaboration with the Confucius Institute Ljubljana at Faculty of Economics and Slovenian Ethnographic Museum, held opening ceremony of presentation display – Chinese culture in Nama. Formal ribbon was cut by director of department store Nama Mira K. Veljić, director of Confucius Institut Ljubljana at Faculty of Economics Danijela Voljč and director of Slovenian Ethnographic Museum Bojana Rogelj Škafar.
Presentation display consists of illustrations of academic painter, Wang Huiqin, from the book Hallerstein – Slovenian in a forbbiden city and original exhibits from Qing Dynasty in the 18th century, replicas of clay warriors that are products of children from Confucius classrooms Ljubljana (Primary school Trnovo and Primary school Koseze) in combination with fashionable clothing from department store Nama.
