IMB students exploring Finland

Already on the second day in Finland our students became a part of Finnish film industry. Former vice president of Nokia, Martin Sandelin introduced them to two cool guys, Timo Vuorensola, a director of Iron Sky movie and Otto Vihanto, business developer at Iron Sky Universe film production company. We met in local cinema theatre Kino K-13, where we also watched Iron Sky, a sci-fi movie about Nazies from the dark side of the moon. Through interactive lectures we were presented the different ways of “producing with audience”.  Crowdsourcing, crowdfunding and crowdinvesting are relatively new terms in business and marketing environment, where customers participate in a creation proccess by sharing their ideas, resources or money. This was one of few movie productions that decided to use this kind of strategies while fundrasing. The success if based on the fact that the second part of the movie is already in proccess using same strategy of crowd collaborating strategies.
