The EFMD Global Network has appointed Marjan Smonig to the Organising Committee of the first BSIS (Business School Impact System) Symposium scheduled to be held in HEC Liege in April 2019.

In explaining the appointment, the EFMD Global Network highlighted the contribution and experience provided by the Faculty of Economics as part of its BSIS project participation and preparation. This last summer, this project was first implemented in relation to the EQUIS reaccreditation process, thereby helping significantly with building up the BSIS system.

The EFMD Global Network notes that, by virtue of the growing interest and significance of the impact of business schools on the local and broader environments, the number of business schools and faculties taking part in the EFMD–BSIS process has been surging. The association thus focuses considerable attention on ensuring organisational capacities for interactions and the exchange of best practices in this area.
