Celebrating Chinese New Year in the Home of Senior Citizens Fužine
On Tuesday, 5th of February 2019, Confucius institute in collaboration with Home of senior citizens Fužine, organized a celebration of the first day of the new lunar year.
Citizens participated in a calligraphy workshop and the CI volunteers demonstrated traditional tea preparation. The celebration continued in the afternoon with origami workshops, traditional Chinese songs, Taijiquan and Chinese dance classes. The most enthusiastic seniors decided to teach CI volunteers how to dance Polka. The gathering ended with dinner and traditional Chinese dishes.
