Central Economics Library  invites you to Fitch Connect collection presentation on March 3rd, at 10.00 a.m. in R-214.

Fitch Connect is an innovative, robust and comprehensive credit analytics platform designed to service the individual data consumption models of credit risk professionals.

The collection contains financial data for more than 33,000 global banks and around 11,500 insurers from more than 120 countries and the history of data is up to 30 years.

The lecture will be dedicated to Fitch Data Sets overview and Fitch Connect – Credit Analytics and Macro Intelligence platform and we will learn about the functionality of the Web and Excel add-in interfaces.

Web: A powerful and intuitive front-end interface. Delivers all Fitch content with advanced search capability, analytical tools and functionality.

  • Search functionality – Structure of Entity Page
  • Creation of Portfolios and Custom Views
  • Creation of Alerts
  • Research functionality

Excel add-in: Compile ratings, financials, and analytics faster and more efficiently from within pre-built and customizable Microsoft Excel templates.

  • Showing functionalities of the Excel Addin incl. Data Dictionary, Template Library, Entity Search
  • Demo one Template (most likely Banks template)
  • Creation of customized template
