Ljubljana Summer School: 9-27 July 2012

The LJUBLJANA SUMMER SCHOOL is an international programme that was introduced by the Faculty of Economics in the summer of 2000. The programme was created in order to impart knowledge by taking full advantage of Slovenia’s unique geographical position: the meeting point of East and West. Annually, around 400 students and 50 lectures (55% international) from more than 100 institutions and 40 countries from all over the world participate in this exceptional intensive programme.

Students will be able to choose from among many courses which are academically challenging and intellectually stimulating. Discussions between professors and students through various interactive teaching methods are strongly encouraged. Coming from Slovenia and all over the world, the lecturers are experts in their chosen fields and actively involved in academic research; many act as advisers and consultants to companies and the government.
