Faculty of Economics Alumni Club organized on Thursday, 31st January, the opening event of a new Alumni club “Management and Organization”. The pleasant ambience in Dvor Tacen and a glass of wine for all present, together with the delightful musical performance some of members of Perpetuum Jazzile, have opened the event successfully.

Exclusively for EFnews, the head of the club “Management and Organization”, Bogdan Dular, said: “The main purpose of creating the club is to maintain contacts, networking, upgrading, mutual cooperation and ultimately, to spend pleasant time with former classmates from the Master’s program at the Faculty of Economics.”

“New contacts, many business opportunities …” Monika Lapanja – director of the Centre of Business Excellence and Andreja Cirman vice – dean for Academic Affairs at Faculty of Ecnomincs and director of the Management and Organisation program agreed.

Since this is a newly established club, the organizers have provided an interesting theme of the event which would symbolically connect lots of successful Slovenian business start-up stories, with the Alumni club. This is clearly demonstrated by the desire for successful stories inside the newly established club.

“Business idea was born in a general strike in Steklarna RogaškaMatej Kurent – CEO and founder of CalypsoCrystal

As Tadej Horvat, CEO and founder of a young company Magna Medica, said: “The recession is the best time to invest because that is time of natural selection, where only the best survive. But, on the other hand, for good product there is always opportunity. “

Success is the child of courage. Business club is very promising, but the question is only in which direction – bread or games?
