Lecture by Full Professor Jadran Lenarčič, PhD, at the Management Class

On Wednesday, 6^th November 2013, Faculty of Economics University of Ljubljana was hosting at Management Course of Full Professor Vlado Dimovski, PhD, Assistant Professor Sandra Penger, PhD and assistant Judita Peterlin esteemed scientist in the field of robotics Full Professor Jadran Lenarčič, PhD, who is the director of the Institute “Jožef Stefan” (IJS).

The presentation was such that we were amazed by the knowledge and cutting-edge technology that we have in Slovenia at IJS. Full Professor Jadran Lenarčič, PhD, presented organizational structure of the only multidimensional research institute in Slovenia that has an extensive international collaboration network.

Director of the institute IJS presented to the students the fascinating link between the technology and science – fusion. IJS was established in 1949 as SAZU Institute of Physics, later focused as Nuclear Institute of Jožef Stefan and in 1969 got its current name. Nowadays, IJS has 28 research departments, laboratories, centers, support departments which are all involved in cutting edge technological and scientific solutions.
