Opening of the Hallerstein- Slovenian in the Forbidden City exhibition in the National Assembly

The Hallerstein- Slovenian in the Forbidden City exhibition was opened in the Slovenian National assembly, illustrated by academic painter Huiqin Wang. Guests at the official opening were addressed by the president of National Assembly, dr. Milan Brglez and ambassador of the People`s republic of China, H.E. Zhang Xianyi. Pupils from CC Ljubljana (Trnovo Elementary and Primary school) prepared a cultural programme which combined Slovenian and Chinese cultures.  In addition to the paintings, the exhibition also includes a children’s book: Hallerstein: Slovenian in the Forbidden city, that was published in 2014 and awarded by Chamber of Publishing and  Bookselling within Chamber of Commerce, the prize of most unique children’s’ illustrated book in Slovenia. The project was supported by CI Ljubljana.
