Visiting professor from the Technical University of Eindhoven

From March 8th till March 15th the IMB programme hosted one of its regular visiting professors dr. Jan C. Fransoo from Technical University of Eindhoven, Technology Management department.

He specializes in Operations Planning and Supply Chain Management in the process and FMCG industries, and is part of the Eindhoven Retail Operations group. He also serves as Research Director of the European Supply Chain Forum, a collaborative effort of the universities of Eindhoven (Netherlands) and Lund (Sweden) and about 25 large multinational companies.

In his one week, highly intensive course of Operations management, he introduced the concepts of Operations Management and Supply Chain Management to the IMB students and presented some of the most cutting edge advances in these fields.
