Guest Lučka Kajfež Bogataj at the EMTM program

On 7 February 2014, Professor Lučka Kajfež Bogataj was a host lecturer at the EMTM (European Mater in Tourism Management) 2013-2015 study program, run by Professor Tanja Mihalič. The renowned climatologist and the Nobel Prize co-winner, who was awarded the prize for her work in the Intergovernmental panel on climate change, lectured on climate changes and political environmental sustainability.  The main aim of the lecture was to address students’ dilemmas over the justification and credibility of political involvement in diminishing and preventing the impact of climate changes.  Students prepared many interesting questions for discussion.
