Datastream Workshop
On Thursday, April 3rd 2014 Ms Rania Loeffler, Team Leader Client Specialist Banking & Research at Thomson Reuters will hold a Datastream training and workshop.
You are invited to join us in the computer room R-209. The presentation and workshop will last an hour and a half and you can choose to participate in:
- 1st group – at 1 pm, or
- 2nd group – at 3 pm.
By covering 175 countries Datastream gives you access to the world’s largest historical (up to 50 years on history on many series) financial numerical database for equity, indices, commodities, economics, exchange rates, etc. and allows for charting and downloading data into MS Office applications.
With datastream you can access over 3.5 million instruments and indicators and over 10,000 different fields (datatypes). This database can be accessed from the premises of the library only (Computer RCEK-22, basement).
