Round table and seminar on How to Get Published

Radka Machková will share her knowledge and experiences on Monday, 16th of March 2015 at 4 pm and we thoroughly recommend this session to anyone who is considering getting their work published. The round table and seminar will take place at the Faculty of Economics University of Ljubljana – room P-119.
At the beginning Vice-rector prof. dr. Maja Makovec Benčič, prof. dr. Marko Jaklič and assist. prof. dr. Matevž Rašković will receive the certificate for ‘Highly commended paper’ for the article Antecedents and evolution of the Bartlett and Ghoshal transnational typology published in Multinational Business Review. Prof. dr. Urša Golob Podnar from Faculty of Social Sciences will be awarded with the certificate ‘Outstanding reviewer’.
The round table on scientific publishing will follow, where award winners – all experienced researchers – will share their own experiences and advices with you.
The last part of the session – the seminar on how to get published will contain insider’s information on:
- Emerald´s platform – new features and website,
- Introduction to academic writing (article structure, publishing ethics, copyright etc.),
- The key questions that make or break a paper,
- How to peer review your own work,
- The secrets of revision,
- Open Access
