Educational excursions for the course of Introduction to tourism

There were two educational excursions for the course of Introduction to tourism under the supervision of asist.prof. Kir Kuščer. The first field trip took place on Friday, 27.11.2015 to LifeClass Hotels&Spa in Portorož. Students attended the lecture of Miss Ajda Hovnik Plešej, PR manager, and Miss Rajka Lunić, Marketing manager,​ who presented LifeClass hotel chain operations in Slovenia, Croatia and Italy. After the lecture the students participated in tours of hotel Apollo, hotel Neptun and LifeClass wellness center.

The second educational excursion took place on Wednesday, 2.12.2015 to Plaza Hotel Ljubljana. ​The tour of the hotel was followed by a lecture by executive director of the hotel, Ms. Urša Radanovič, who presented hotel’s operations, managerial functions in the accommodation sector, the structure of guests and changes that took place after taking the Radisson Blu franchise.
