Pursuant to Article 115 of the Rules of Procedures for (Co)Financing, Assessing and Monitoring the Implementation of Research Activities (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 4/11, 72/11, 45/12, 96/13, 100/13 and 92/14) as well as the Official Notice of the Slovenian Research Agency – SRA, no. 6316-1 / 2017-273, on the allocation of mentoring positions to research programs in 2017

Public Tender for Young Researcheri* 2017

IRSA herein announces a vacancy for one (1) young researcher in sociology or related field of social sciences. Candidates viable for this vacancy will enroll in a doctoral programme this year (2017) or are already first year students.

Candidates are expected to align their doctoral dissertation thematic with the research interest of the programme group which deals with the transfer of knowledge in the context of social values, social capital, academic and social entrepreneurship, etc.

Furthermore, the candidates must fulfil the conditions laid down in Article 113 of SRA Rules of Procedures for (Co)Financing, Assessing and Monitoring the Implementation of Research Activities:

  • Maximum 28 years of age (according to the date of birth);
  • Average grade of all exams and praxis on former university programmes (minimum of 8,00); more information on the SRA conditions regarding young researcher can be found on the following link; information regarding IRSA research topics and projects, where the young researcher will be placed, can be found at .
