Prof. Dr. Nevenka Hrovatin appointed to the Council of the International Association of Energy Economics (IAEE)

Prof. dr. Nevenka Hrovatin was appointed as a member of the Council of the well-respected International Association of Energy Economics (IAEE) for a period of 2 years (2018–2020). The IAEE (http://www.iaee.org/) unites over 4,300 members from academic, corporate and other institutions from over 90 countries. It is composed of more than 30 national affiliates. Every year the IAEE organises a world conference on energy economics and annual conferences on all continents of the world. The IAEE has entrusted the FELU with organising the 16th IAEE European Conference, to be held from 25 to 28 August 2019 in Ljubljana. Prof. Dr. Nevenka Hrovatin will chair the Organising Committee of the IAEE European Conference, whereas at the FELU chairpersons of individual committees will include Prof. dr. Jelena Zorić and Prof. dr. Matej Švigelj. Various duties will be fulfilled by Janez Dolšak, MSc and the conference’s General Secretary Barbara Leskovec Nastav, MSc., while Sarah Jezernik, MSc, President of the Slovenian Association for Energy Economics (SAEE) and member of the Management Board of Plinovodi d.o.o., will chair the Sponsorship Committee.

In the framework of preparing for the conference, IAEE management representatives will be visiting the FELU in April.
