Huge spring trial – more than 30 databases

Dear Library users, we have some great news for you!

FELU in cooperation with providers of economic and business databases organizes a free trial for more than 30 databases/platforms till May 11th, 2018. All trials are freely available in the FELU network, and you will be able to access most of them without creating login (link to the source = click on the name).

  1. ABI Inform (ProQuest). Full text economic and business database combining important full-text scholarly journals and much sought-after titles from the business press as well as key trade publications, market research reports, dissertations, and working papers. Additional information ->
  2. BECO: Multimedia collections (ProQuest/Alexander Street). It provides multimedia materials for all relevant business areas. Its functions provide possibility to create playlist of videos, embed links, send clips to mobile, and create new video clips. Videos.   3. Business Source Complete (EBSCO): Please let us introduce an upgraded version of current collection called. The database brings more content in full text and besides the document types considered more traditional (articles from academic journals and general-business magazines), it includes full-text content of following document types as well: SWOT analyses, Case studies, Business Videos from Harvard Business Schools, Industrial Reports, Company profiles, Socioeconomic prognoses.   4. EconLit with Full Text (EBSCO/American Economic Association). It offers full text for hundreds of journals including AEA journals with no delay off full text delivery. In addition to full-text coverage, the database includes 670 full-text journals, 15 full-text books, including Handbook of World Trade.   5. EconLit (ProQuest/American Economic Association). As a full-text source for economic research offers hundreds of journals including AEA journals with no delay off full text delivery. In addition to full-text coverage, the database includes 670 full-text journals, 15 full-text books, including Handbook of World Trade. Provides bibliographic coverage of a wide range of economics-related literature. It includes financial data and company reports, analyses and news, data about the global company stock, market, or currency movements. The database combines more than 32,000 sources to give students and lecturers access to premium content from 200 countries in 28 languages.   8. HST: Business & Management Collection. It contains over 1,000 specially commissioned, online, animated lectures, case studies and case study interviews by leading experts in academia, industry and commerce.  The collection is categorized into six broad subject areas with many talks and case studies further organized into 90 series, overseen by an experienced editorial board and series editors who are experts in their fields. Speakers are chosen based on their expertise and each talk is produced together with the speaker especially for the collection. The collection is reviewed and updated monthly.   12. WRDS.  Platform where one can access to multiple databases in one location – more than 200 terabytes of data. The top 5 datasets used by most schools when they start are: Compustat, CRSP, IBES, Thomson Reuters 13F, BvD.
