Guest lecture at the Key Account Management course: Mr. Jure Šumi, MSc
On Monday, 21 May 2018, a guest from practice, Mr. Jure Šumi, MSc, Business Development Professional in the area of Green Solutions at Knauf Insulation, presented his experience to students of the Key Account Management graduate elective course (led by Prof. Dr. Barbara Čater).
At the beginning, he stated why the company decided on the key account management approach and presented the criteria used to select key accounts. In the continuation, the emphasis was on differences in doing business with key accounts compared to other business relations. The guest ended the lecture with a presentation of positive effects of this approach on the company’s operations.
