National Investment Banking Competition

We are delighted to announce that registration for the 10th annual National Investment Banking Competition is opening soon with the First Round taking place in Fall 2018 and the Final Round in Spring 2019.

National Investment Banking Competition is the largest investment banking competition in the world with the support from the academic community and many international banks. NIBC was established by a group of professionals in 2009 to give high-caliber students from any geography an opportunity to measure their skills and be recognized by the industry.

  • 1,600+ competitors from 100+ schools including Wharton, Stanford, Yale, Western, Queens, McGill, Oxford, Cambridge and University of Hong Kong
  • Cases designed by investment banking professionals based on current themes and adjudicated by managing directors from US & Canadian banks
  • Teams receive access to past cases, models and templates designed to increase the quality & authenticity of the competition
  • Key representatives from sponsoring banks have included the Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at JP Morgan and Global Head of Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets
  • Prominent keynotes have featured Robert Herjavec (Shark Tank) and Frank Giustra (Lions Gate Entertainment).

Registration Opening: July 31
Early Enrollment Period: September 30th (15% discount)
First Round Case: Fall 2018
Final Round Case: Spring 2019

REGISTRATION: We would like to encourage teams of 2-4 to sign up in August and go through the preparation materials, past cases and model templates provided.

Teams that register within the early enrollment period will receive a $20 reduction to the early-bird registration fee of $140 per team. Competitors within a team must be enrolled as all undergraduate or all graduate students at the time of registration.
