On Friday, 26 October 2018, the Quality Assurance Office organised a practical workshop on learning outcomes for study programme coordinators. The workshop was conducted by the renowned expert Dr Declan Kennedy from University College Cork, Ireland. Twelve coordinators of graduate programmes or their deputies attended the workshop, along with members of the Quality Assurance Office’s staff.
The lecturer presented how to successfully connect the learning outcomes of programmes with those of courses as well as to ensure the effective measurement of the achievement of learning outcomes. In the second part, the study programme coordinators applied the brand-new knowledge in their own programmes. Already during the workshop, some coordinators successfully completed their plans to measure learning outcomes. Further work will be carried out in November and December, aimed at the effective measurement of learning outcomes in the revamped graduate programmes. This week, the first meetings with programme coordinators were held during which the bases for measuring learning outcomes in the International Business programme were established.
