GETM3, a H2020 Project Presentation at The Ministry

On Wednesday, 7 November 2018, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport organised an informative workshop on MSCA RISE entitled Why apply? Ms. Aleksandra Schoetz Sobczak, a project officer from the Research Executive Agency, presented the MarieSkłodowskaCurie RISE (Research and Innovation Staff Exchange) programme and offered information on how to apply and noted that a call for proposals will be issued in the near future. The Ministry also invited a member of the GETM3 project, which was successfully funded, to share their experience. Dr Katarina Katja Mihelič from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, who is leading the Slovenian partners and one of the work packages in the project, stressed that people and their passion and engagement are essential for a successful project. She offered examples of project implementation and shared experience with managing secondments of researchers and corporate partners. The presentation also outlined the importance of knowledge dissemination through ‘sandpits’ and research on talent management practices in companies, which lie at the core of the Employers’ work package.
