It is our pleasure to inform you that our doctoral candidate, Ivan Rubinić, has been awarded with the prestigious 2019 Union for Radical Political Economics Dissertation Fellowship. Based on the doctoral dissertation proposal he submitted, our candidate, supervised by Prof. Dr. Sc. Maks Tajnikar, has been working on his dissertation entitled: “The Dynamics of Economic Inequality in the Euro Area Based on the Marxist Theory of Exploitation”.

He is studying outcome inequality and inequality of opportunity by arguing that within-country inequality results from differential ownership of the means of production and exploitation, while between-country inequality arises from international trade, which gives rise to unequal labour exchange.
