Dear students,
We have received instructions from the UL Rector’s Office regarding the University of Ljubljana’s measures concerning the COVID-19 virus. Based on these instructions, the work and teaching process will continue as planned, with only the method of implementation being adjusted to the current situation.
Therefore, we kindly ask all students to check the websites of the study classes where detailed instructions will be promptly published for each course.
General guidelines:
From 10 March 2020 until further notice, the teaching process at the SEB LU will run as follows:
- Lectures usually given in the Large Hall, Small Hall, Blue Hall, Lilac Hall, P-019 and P-021 will not be held in those halls, but the teaching process will occur in an adjusted form in line with the instructions published on the web pages of study courses, including any exceptions.
- All other lectures, seminars and practical sessions that occur in small lecture rooms will run according to the regular programme. If any changes are made, they will be published for each class separately.
- In computer rooms, additional hand sanitiser dispensers will be mounted and so we kindly ask you to sanitise your hands properly before starting work and to wash your hands carefully with soap after work, while avoiding touching your face during classes.
- According to the University’s instructions, physical education classes will not be held indoors until further notice. Activities in nature will be organised for students during this period with the details to be published on the course’s web page.
General recommendations:
- we advise students against travelling to at-risk areas;
- we advise against contact with visitors from at-risk areas abroad;
- we have postponed all meetings at which many people come into close contact (congresses, formal ceremonies, official diploma-awarding events, physical education);
- defences of end-of-study theses will be held without an audience;
- communication is to occur by telephone or electronic media (e-mail, Skype).
