On Wednesday, December 9, 2020, European Investment Bank (EIB) Institute virtually hosted the finals of the European Ethics Bowl. Two teams, one from Slovenia and one from the Alumni Programme of EIB Institute’s Summer School competed in the finals. The teams debated about ethical dilemmas connected with the Covid-19 vaccination.

The team from Slovenia, comes from the Faculty of Social Sciences. Meta, Gregor, and Ema after a high-level debate, defeated the alumni of the summer school program of the European Investment Bank Institute.

The European Ethics Bowl was initiated by three leading European universities (School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, Goethe University, Frankfurt, University Paris Dauphine), and the Alumni Programme of European Investment Bank Institute’s Summer School. During the competition, the students have the opportunity to learn and practice the skills they need as European citizens and as citizens of the world.
