- Under the University of Ljubljana Act—Official Gazette of SRS no. 23/57, i.e., from the autumn of 1957 onwards—the Faculty of Economics again became an independent legal entity, separate from the Faculty of Law. In the picture: the Dean of the Faculty of Economics in the 1957/1958 academic year, Prof. Dolfe Vogelnik, PhD, who was also the Rector of the University of Ljubljana between 1958 and 1961 and its Vice-Rector between 1961 and 1964.

- The Faculty of Economics was the first to introduce class councils in the 1958/1959 winter semester, which brought together professors of an individual class and the elected representatives of students of the corresponding class. In the picture: the first student representative in the faculty council was Franc Štrumbelj who was also the chairman of the Yugoslav Association of Students of the Faculty of Economics in 1955.

- The Central Economics Library keeps all the diploma theses, which according to the study plan from 1961 must be prepared and successfully defended by students in order for them to obtain the title of graduate economist.
