Guest lecturer Mr. Albert Salman at EMTM
As a part of the Environmental Management in Tourism course, EMTM students had the opportunity to listen to the guest lecture by Mr. Albert Salman, founder, and president of Green Destinations.
Mr. Salman talked about how he founded Green Destinations, the world’s largest network of sustainable destinations; the Sustainable Destinations Top 100, the world’s leading competition; the Sustainable Destination Awards; and the Good Travel Guide, the world’s first travel website exclusively featuring certified destinations and businesses.
He shared his experience and the importance of stakeholders in implementing sustainable practices within the destination management and destination stakeholders.
