Virtual simulation of Council negotiations on post-2020 EU budget
Simulation started with an introductory session on 28 June and will take place as formal negotiations between 5 and 9 July, during Ljubljana Summer School at the School of Economics and Business. There are 30 students from 6 partner universities of EUTOPIA Alliance participating in it. Simulation is led by professor Mojmir Mrak and professor Vasja Rant who will expose students to challenges associated with overcoming very different positions of various EU member states in multiannual EU budget negotiations 2021-2027 with the objective to achieve a compromise outcome at the end of the simulation.
