Visit of BSIS representatives

The School of Economics and Business was visited by the BSIS Director and Professor Emeritus, Jean Moulin University, iaelyon School of Management Mr. Michel Kalika and Mr. Willfred Mijnhardt, Strategic Director, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

The representatives assessed the impact of the school in the areas of education, finance, research, society, business development and impact on and within the region. The Impact Scheme of the Business School Impact Assessment System (BSIS) was developed to assess the impact of a school on its local environment – the city or region in which it is located.

During their visit, they interviewed more than 56 stakeholders including faculty members, professional staff, students, and members of Alumni Club as well as municipality, NGO and business representatives. The interviews were spread over seven different sections representing different impacts.

A formal decision on whether to renew SEB LU`s accreditation will be made in the fall.
