By joining and signing the Glasgow Declaration, SEB LU commits to actively contribute to the fight against climate change and to achieve the climate targets by 2050.

SEB LU tourism programmes have been accredited at UNWTO TEDQUAL since 2002. The tourism programmes of SEB LU are committed to the sustainable development of tourism and the implementation of the United Nations agendas, the implementation of the Global Code of Ethics in Tourism and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These agendas and their implementation are part of faculty curricula, researches, awareness, dissemination, consultation and implementation.

SEB LU plans to continue to expand curricula, study materials, and research and advisory programmes in the area of emissions reduction as set forth in the Glasgow Declaration. We will organize various seminars and activities for students, the general public, and government and other tourism development planners to disseminate the commitments of the Glasgow Declaration.
