Have you ever thought about how ethics, sports and the business world are connected? Are you interested in what ethical dilemmas are most relevant in the world of sports right now? Would you like to discuss the past World Cup and its controversies? If you want to find out what your peers think about these and similar topics, join us in the national selection for the international student competition European Ethics Bowl (EEB). At the national selection, we will select a team of students to represent Slovenia in the quarterfinals of the European Ethics Bowl and compete with their peers from all over Europe.

The EEB is a student competition where students from all over Europe debate ethical issues in the business world. Ethical dilemmas are presented to students in the form of actual case studies. Groups of students present their views on ethical dilemmas in a short video, followed by debate and questions and judging by the judges. A total of fifteen European universities and the Institute of the European Investment Bank Institute are participating in the competition this year. This is the fourth consecutive year that the competition has been held.

Each group consists of three students, who can come from different years, programs, levels of study or even from different faculties. University graduates can also apply for the competition, provided that they completed their studies no more than two years ago.

The School of Economics and Business, the organizer of the national qualifying competition, invites all students of Slovenian universities and colleges to take part in the national qualifying competition. Registrations for the competition are bring collected at this link until Wednesday, March 29 2023 until midnight.

The national qualifying competition will take place on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 4pm. The winning team will represent Slovenia in the quarterfinals on May 16, where they will compete with peers from more than thirteen European countries for a place in the semi-finals.
