SEB LU one of the top three schools in business and economics in the region

At the Eduniversal World Convention, held between October 30 and November 2 in the University of South Pacific on Fiji, the School of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana was proclaimed the third best school in Eastern Europe. SEB LU shares the third place with the Corvinus University of Budapest, Corvinus Business School (Hungary). The SEB LU award was taken over by our visiting professor Matevž Raškovič, who is currently teaching international business at the Auckland University of Technology.
The first place in the Eastern Europe is held by the Prague University of Economics and Business (Czech Republic). Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University (Russia) and University of Warshaw (Poland) share the second place.
The inernational Eduniversal ranking, which is compiled based on voting by the deans of business schools, classifies schools according to their international reputation in a given geographical area. These include: Africa, Central Asia, Eurasia and Middle East, Far East, Latin America, Oceania, North America, Eastern Europe and Western Europe. Slovenia belongs to the region of Eastern Europe, where the following countries are included: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Montenegro, Estonia, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, North Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine.
The Eduniversal international ranking features 1,000 of the world’s top business-economic schools from 154 countries. Every school is awarded Palms of Excellence (at least 1 and at most 5 Palms of Excellence). The final ranking of an individual business school is based on the votes of the deans of all 1,000 business schools. SEB LU received 5 palms of excellence also this year.
