GSERM Winter School back at the SEB LU

After three years, SEB LU was once again hosting the GSERM Winter School in Ljubljana in cooperation with our Swiss partner institution, the University of St. Gallen. The Winter School is aimed at PhD students and young researchers, as well as experts and specialists from various fields.

The 24 participants from 7 countries have attended the courses Machine Learning with R and Online Behavioural Research. The guest lecturers were Gabriele Paolaci from Erasmus University, Rotterdam School of Management (the Netherlands) and Brett Lantz from Sony Interactive Entertainment (United States).

GSERM programmes are renowned as a great networking opportunity, so we have organised a rich extra-curricular programme for participants to get to know SEB LU and the city of Ljubljana better.

During the week of 15-19 January, two more courses were delivered online, namely Generative AI with LLMs and Analysing Panel Data. The lectures were given by Kunpeng Zhang (Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, United States) and Christopher Zorn (Pennsylvania State University, United States).
