Bloomberg temporary unavailable
We inform you that the allowed limit for data export from the Bloomberg terminal has been exceeded in July 2024.
Therefore, data export will only be possible again from 1 August, 2024.
Until then, terminal reservations in our system are disabled.
To avoid similar issues in the future, we advise you to:
- Set appropriate filters before exporting data to ensure that you only transfer the data you really need.
- Do not close and then reopen the Excel files with the data – in this case all data is re-downloaded after reopening of the file.
- Use Bloomberg Query Language (BQL) whenever possible to reduce the amount of data exported.
If you need help in formulating a query or advice on efficient usage, you can write to digi.cek@ef.uni-lj.si or seek advice from the demonstrators in FinLab.
We kindly ask you to use the SEB LU e-resources, which are available for academic and research purposes, responsibly and in accordance with actual needs. Otherwise, you may prevent access for those who urgently need the data for completing their thesis and research works.
