Instructions for using the Bloomberg Terminal
04.11.2024Comments are closed.Library, library-archive, Library-news

The Bloomberg Terminal is available in the library exclusively for research and academic purposes at UL SEB. It provides access to an extensive database of financial data, news, analytics, trading and price information.
Since data export from this resource is limited, you should use it responsibly to avoid limiting access for others.
Please follow the recommendations for data export:
-
-
- Apply appropriate filters before exporting to download only the data you really need.
- Do not close Excel files with data you need more than once. If you reopen the file, all data will be downloaded again.
- Use Bloomberg Query Language (BQL) whenever possible to reduce the amount of data downloaded.
-
For help in creating a query or for advice on efficient use, you can contact the demonstrators in FinLab.
Access to the terminal installed in the library is possible with a signed e-permit and prior computer reservation.
