The 70th anniversary of the Faculty of Economics
Dear students,
Our Faculty is celebrating its 70th birthday today. So far, 38,556 students have graduated, 6,775 students have completed their Master’s studies and another 399 have received their doctoral degree at our Faculty. Amid all this effort, we have together created more than 45,700 stories of hard work, thereby gaining knowledge and acquiring valuable experience. Professors, graduates, business partners and you, our current students, have contributed crucially to the Faculty’s development and its excellence, helping us to attain the goals we have set in our mission and vision.
Study years are a period when we determine our life goals while overcoming great challenges, and also a time when close friendships are formed. There are limitless opportunities and yet it mainly depends on you which ones you will seize and to what extent. Just as our mind is boundless, there are no boundaries to knowledge. Think positively. The future is here and you are equally co-creating it. Dig for the treasure of knowledge, enjoy the challenges and build new opportunities for our common future.
Let us be proud of our Faculty. Upon this jubilee, let me take this opportunity to congratulate you from my heart as important members of our academic community, and wish you many study successes, along with personal satisfaction and precious moments of joy. I would also like to congratulate all the female students on International Women’s Day.
