EMTM students visit the ITB 2018

Last week (from 6-9th March 2018) FELU students from the program European Master in Tourism Management (EMTM) traveled to Berlin to visit the world’s leading travel trade show ITB 2018. In addition to attending many interesting lectures on the topics such as over-tourism and artificial intelligence in tourism, students visited stands of various destinations and companies, putting their networking skills into practice. On Friday, students were greeted by the Slovenian Tourism Board representatives on the Slovenian stand, where they learned about Slovenia’s marketing efforts and tourism strategies. Students believe they obtained important insights from the global tourism industry and perceive the field trip to ITB as a great success.
