The FELU hosted the TTRA Europe Chapter 2018 Conference

From 24 to 26 April 2018 the FELU hosted the TTRA – Travel and Tourism Research Association’s 2018 European Chapter Conference.

The programme leaders of the conference were Assist. Prof. Dr. Kir Kuščer and Prof. Dr. Tanja Mihalič, the FELU’s Vice-Dean. Day one, 24 April, was reserved for the doctoral part of the conference, whereas Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 were dedicated to the central events.

The conference topic was Tourism: A Vehicle for Sustainable Development and encompassed a wide spectrum of themes related to sustainable development in tourism research.
Besides the programme leaders, Prof. Dr. Ljubica Knežević Cvelbar, Prof. Dr. Maja Konečnik Ruzzier and Miha Bratec, MSc, presented their contributions. TTRA Europe connects researchers and experts who impart their research and expert knowledge in the areas of human resources, processes and performance in tourism, accommodation providers and tourist destinations. The conference offers a platform for researching these diverse but interconnected subjects, underpinned by the exchange of knowledge and ideas among countries and cultures.
