Chinese Bridge Competition

On May 23rd at 1 PM the 13th Chinese Bridge Chinese Competition for secondary school students hosted by the Confucius Institute Ljubljana and Chinese Embassy in Slovenia was held as scheduled.

Because of current pandemic situation, competition could only be held online. But the “cloud competition” approach did not wipe out the enthusiasm of students and teachers. Twelve middle school students from Confucius Institute and Confucius classrooms in Slovenia entered the finals through selection. The competition was composed of three parts: “individual speech”, “talent show” and “knowledge contest”.

Lan Žvelc from CI Ljubljana, Nadja Jevnikar from CC Kranj and Vanesa Sagadin from CC Maribor won the top three places in this competition. Congratulations!
