Virtual simulation of Council negotiations on post-2020 EU budget

When? 28 June – 9 July 2021 (formal meeting dates on 28 June, 5 July, 7 July, and 9 July 2021)

Where? The simulation will take place online with participants having access to the SEB Canvas platform dedicated specifically to the simulation

What? The simulation will focus on the substance and procedures of the Council (Council of the EU and the European Council) negotiations about the post-2020 medium term EU budget composed of two elements, the
traditional multiannual financial framework 2021-2027 and a new recovery instrument, the Next Generation EU.

How? The simulation will be conducted in English, therefore a sufficient command of the language is required.

Who? Students from EUTOPIA partner universities and EUTOPIA global network. All participants will receive a certificate of participation and will be eligible for 4 ECTS credits.

Fee? The fee for simulation is waived.
