Visit and lecture from the President of the European Court of Auditors

On Monday, 5 July 2021, at 3 pm, the President of the European Court of Auditors Klaus Heiner Lehne gave a lecture at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana. He presented the work of his institution and the challenges that the Member States will face in implementing the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021–2027. The title of the lecture, which was held in English, was Institutional role of the ECA and challenges with implementation of Multiannual financial framework 2021-27 and programme Next generation EU.

The President of the European Court of Auditors closed the lecture with a presentation of the EU’s Next Generation Programme, the main part of which is the Resilience and Recovery Fund. It encourages the efficiency of investment projects and the necessary reforms, but also poses many dilemmas regarding the control over the use of these funds.

The lecture took place in the Blue Hall (Plava dvorana).
