Are you wondering what these numbers mean? Would you like to to gain new skills, valuable experience and contribute to solving a problem? If yes, then we invite you to participate in the EUTOPIA Open Innovation Challenge Hackathon hosted by the University of Gothenburg.
The theme of the Hackathon is public procurement and coordinating the distribution of goods. You will work with your team alongside procurers on a topic related to coordinated distribution of goods, as most government agencies procure goods in ad hoc manner, contributing to unnecessary CO2 emissions, congestion and not taking social aspects into account. Six teams, one from each EUTOPIA partner university will work on assigned topics (one per team) and provide procurers and stakeholders with new insights and inspiration that can be taken into account in further procurement of goods.
The Hackathon will take place from Wednesday, 23rd Feb, through Friday, 25th Feb, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Faculty of Economics. Food and drink will be provided, all you need is a laptop with a mouse (because of the work on the MIRO platform) and desire for knowledge, insights and opportunities that will present itself in the process. Hackathon will be held in English. Registrations by 21 February to: jelena.licanin@uni-lj.si
Online introductory course for the MIRO platform: Monday, 21st of February, between 5 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.
