Open day in Kosovo Campus in Prishtina

As part of its regular activities and in cooperation with Jean Monnet Chair, FELU at its Kosovo Campus has organized a seminar on topic “Medium-term financial perspective of the EU for 2014 – 2020 with special reference to IPA II”.
This two-days seminar was held on 10th and 11th April, 2013 and was attended by roughly 30 participants representing various institutions and organizations such as Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of European Integration, Ministry of Finance, Kosovo Central Bank, Kosovo Tax Administration, GIZ, CDF, Recura Financials, Lux Development, Kosovar Civil Society Foundation, APPK, Iliria University, and many individuals from the business and academic sector.
Objectives of this seminar were to provide a conceptual overview of public finances at the EU level, to present key features of the medium-term financial perspective covering the 2014 – 2020 period that has been agreed at the European Council’s level in February 2013, to discuss pre-accession assistance of the EU and more specifically to outlay main features of the forthcoming IPA II to which Kosovo will be a beneficiary country.
Seminar was delivered by prof. Mojmir Mrak, Jean Monnet Chair holder at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana.
On 10th and 11 th April, there was also an Open day at the Kosovo Campus of FELU. Open days are aimed at giving the potential students the opportunity to learn more about postgraduate programs that are being delivered in Kosovo by the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, as well as to see the premises where these programs are implemented and meet our Kosovo staff.
