EISB Conference
From12–14 September 2007 the Faculty of Economics hosted 37th Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Small Business (EISB).
The conference was intended for business experts such as university researchers and university business incubators, as well as other consultants, advisors, and economic policy shapers at the local, regional, and state levels. The conference aimed to enable the flow of information between the latest business research and current business practice, and to hasten development of entrepreneurship, innovation, and small business knowledge.
The opening reception took place at the Ljubljana castle, where vice dean for international relations, professor Nevenka Hrovation and the mayor of Ljubljana, Zoran Janković addressed and warmly welcomed the participants. Participants also tasted the Slovenian culinary specialties and enjoyed a performance by the folklore group.
The conference ended with Gala Evening at Grand Hotel Union.
