Orientation week for foreign students

In the last week of September International Relations Office organized the annual Orientation week for foreign students who will be studying as exchange students at the Faculty of Economics. In the winter semester we are hosting 167 foreign students from 23 different countries and 84 partner institutions.

Through the programme which vas very varied, the students got the opportunity to learn more about the study system at the faculty, student life in Ljubljana and about Slovenia. Within the first day a special event, called “All around the world global dinner” was organized where students presented their countries’ cuisine and became familiar with the Slovenian tradition. Orientation week will conclude with trips around Slovenia. Students will visit the beautiful city of Bled and the Slovenian coast.

A special thanks goes to our volunteer tutors who were available to foreign students prior to their arrival and helped throughout the whole organization.
