First week of Month of Chinese culture has passed
And it went by so fast! We were starting our mornings with Taiji master Chen Shining and his practice of Taijiquan and Qigong, on tle lawn between Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Administration. Then days were able to continue in real Chinese deserts.
On Monday, 13.5.2013 we had an official opening ceremony of Chinese culture on topic Traditional Chinese medicine in everyday life. Taiji group, which came all the way from China, perfomed in the atrium of Faculty of Economics. We also heard a lecture and demonstration on Chinese traditional medicine, facial acupuncture and Chinese tea drinking culture.
On Tuesday, 14 5.2013 part of the Confucius Institute team went to Maribor, where they prepared a 
ceremony at third anniversary of the opening of the Confucius Institute and of opening of Chinese classrooms in Maribor. The second part of the team stayed in Ljubljana, where we prepared practical demonstration of diagnostic method of Traditional Chinese medicine. More than 20 visitors attended, to test traditional Chinese medical examination on their own skin.
Wednesday was marked by the nature, health and welfare. The Institute team moved to the boathouse Tivoli. Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine has prepared an afternoon workshop where visitors could see the process of tea drinking in China, listen to a lecture on Chinese culture and practice Qigong, and then tried workout on their own. Besides all these activities they opened their 
doors to all who want to see a practical demonstration of traditional Chinese medicine.
On Thursday, 16.5.2013, we joined Shining Chen Taiji master again, but this time in a slightly different role. We prepared a lecture on Qigong and self-massage along the meridians. Visitors first listened to the theoretical part, in the second part Mr. Chen demonstrated how self-massage is carried out correctly. Visitors expressed their appreciaton, in particular they liked the practical part.
We had a very interesting week colored by a healthy lifestyle. 21.5. 2013, next week, a lot of more interesting business lectures were awaiting. Professors from partner universities SIFT visited us, who lectured on doing business with China, business etiquette and how to succeed in such a large world powers such as China. We also had the opportunity to listen to the excellent local professors and lecturers, who have several years work with China or has in some way a strong presence in their lives.
