Opening of the first Confucius classroom in Slovenia
In May 2013 II. High School Maribor held the opening of the first Confucius Classroom in Slovenia. The main purpose of the classroom and its activities is to enhance the understanding and friendship between young people in China and Slovenia by sponsoring courses of Chinese language and culture by the National Office of Chinese Language in Beijing – Hanban. Confucius classrooms are “local knots”, which includes Tezno kindergarten, Primary School Bojana Ilicha, High School Ptuj and II. High School Maribor. Congratulations to schools, kindergarten, students and children and all who worked hard to achive this goal. Good luck!
